i need a better kitchen

one of my favorite things to do when i'm bored is to visit food blogs. my favorite site to start with is TasteSpotting, which has links to a whole bunch of other sites. i end up with 20+ tabs open looking at all these different foods and recipes. you might think it's a waste of time, but some of the best dishes i've made was from browsing food blogs...just ask the bf.

anyway, i really wish i had an opportunity to cook and bake more. there are so many things i want to try to make but i just don't have the chance now (like this and this and this and this and this!)

reason #1 i can't cook/bake more: it's hard to experiment while cooking for one person. some recipes are too hard to scale down, so i end up eating the same dish for a week.

reason #2: my kitchen is too small. i share an apartment with 2 other people, so there are always dishes piled up and leftovers in the fridge. on top of that, we have no dishwasher -- i'm not a big fan of washing tons of dishes. and no boy likes to hold dry, dishwashing hands.

so that got me wanting a nice, big kitchen so i can cook in. of course i can't get one now, so i'm just hoping that when i finally get a house of my own, it'll have a big kitchen. something like this:

i love it. lots of counter space, lots of cabinet space, double ovens, and a dishwasher. so, future husband, take note! you will be greatly rewarded (with banana puddings and apple pies) if i get a nice kitchen.
